Gabrielle Sinclair Compton

Gabrielle Sinclair Compton (she/they) is an interdisciplinary scholar-artist based in Atlanta, Georgia, who teaches English at Georgia State University. Her creative and scholarly research brings together spatial theory and performance studies to examine strategies toward disruptive and sustained rest, placemaking, and care. Gabrielle teaches in the Interdisciplinary Studies department at Kennesaw State University and holds a PhD in Theatre and Performance Studies from the University of Georgia and an MFA in Playwriting from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University.
