Shane H Weathers
Shane H Weathers is an independent scholar and earned his Ph.D. in American Culture Studies from Bowling Green State University. His research interests include genre theory and film franchises. Shane has published on the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, James Bond, and Rocky franchises, and has upcoming publications on Russell Crowe, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Jaws: The Revenge. Shane edited a collection on Texas Chainsaw Massacre for McFarland & Company and has upcoming collections on Halloween, Psycho, and Friday the 13th. Shane is the Book Review Editor for the Journal of Film and Video and the Area Chair of Sea Literature, History, and Culture at the Popular Culture Association.
