Gary Miceli

Gary Miceli is a film scholar and academic critic holding a BFA and an MH in Film Studies and is currently pursuing an MA in English and Creative Writing with a concentration in Screenwriting at Southern New Hampshire University. Specializing in mise-en-scène analysis, genre theory, and the visual grammar of popular cinema, their research explores the structural mechanics of cinematic dread, generic reinvention, and spatial aesthetics across iconic American film history, from classic blockbusters and superhero media to horror.
